Riven: the legend with zero pro games
Here is the most counterintuitive fact in TheShy's career: he has never played Riven in a professional match. Her name does not appear once in his 63-champion record.
The legend comes from solo queue. In 2015, a teenage Kang Seung-lok popularized a Riven animation-cancel sequence in Korean high-elo — a one-second, eight-input combo weaving fast Q-autoattacks with Tiamat — that foreign viewers named “The Shy Combo.” It made him famous as the “best Riven in Korea” before he ever played on stage, and it is the reason Riven is permanently attached to his name.
Riot itself canonized the story: the recall animation of his iG Fiora championship skin shows Fiora trying — and failing — to pull Riven's rune blade from the ground, a tribute to the champion he could not pick for his winner's skin.

His second-most-played champion (63 games, 61.9%). The 2018 semifinal Game 2 solo outplay produced caster Remember's “had heaven not given birth to TheShy” line; his 3,000th LPL assist also came on Jayce in July 2025.
Kalista
Seven games, 71.4% — and the first top-lane Kalista in professional history (March 2020). Opponents reportedly strung together 27 consecutive bans (community figure) before Riot removed the strategy from the meta.
Kayle
Only 13 career games, but one immortal series: the 8/0/6 Game 4 against Griffin at Worlds 2019, with the R-flash engage fans call “half angel, half demon.”
