The highs are historic: the 2018 title run (3–2 KT, 3–0 G2, 3–0 Fnatic), a 2019 MSI semifinal featuring the fastest game in international history (15:57 vs SKT), and a 2019 Worlds semifinal.
The lows are part of the record too. In the 2023 final against T1, TheShy finished the series 1–16 as Zeus took FMVP. In 2025, IG's 1–3 play-in loss to T1 made them the only 17th-place team in Worlds history. This page records both ends.

“Had heaven not given birth to TheShy…”
One game earlier in the same series, his Jayce outplayed two G2 members alone — prompting caster Remember's famous “…the LPL top lane would have stayed in eternal night.” The two lines are often misattributed to each other; this is the verified split.

Top-lane Kalista
In March 2020 TheShy brought Kalista to the top lane for the first time in pro play. Opponents reportedly banned her 27 consecutive times afterward (a community-tracked figure) before Riot nerfed the strategy out of the meta.
